Career Fair Prep Day
At Career Fair Prep Day, students can practice their elevator pitch, have their resume reviewed, receive advice on interviews and plan to make the most out of upcoming job and internship fairs. Free haircuts will also be available, on a first-come first-served basis. Professional attire from Temoc’s Closet will be available for students, free-of-charge and free to keep!

Welcome In Wednesdays
Welcome In Wednesdays are a weekly event for Comets to visit the BNRC and learn about our resources and services! Stop by each Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. during the spring and fall semesters.
On certain Wednesdays from 2 p.m. – 3 p.m., join the BNRC for drop-in sessions with the University Career Center. The spring 2026 semester calendar includes:

Workshops – Comet Life Lab
Join the BNRC for our life skills workshop series, Comet Life Lab, 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. at various dates during the semester. More details to come for the spring 2026 semester schedule.
Move-in Market (August)
Move-in Market is an annual event where students can pick up supplies to start the semester off strong! Includes clothing, shoes, kitchenware, linens, home goods, dorm essentials, school supplies, small furniture and more. Free for all currently enrolled students!

National Dropout Prevention Month (October)
October is National Dropout Prevention Month. More details to come for October 2026 plans.
Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week (November)
November 16 – 20, 2026. The BNRC will be hosting a week’s worth of events with on- and off-campus partners. More details to come!
